The free tool allows users to scan any surface and easily match it to an Alesta® stock powder coating hue which increases productivity by eliminating the wait for a sample powder or color chip delivery.
Axalta Coating Systems (NYSE: AXTA), a leading global manufacturer of liquid and powder coatings, officially opened its new, ultra-modern Axalta Refinish Academy Nordic earlier this month. The move underscores Axalta’s strong commitment to providing high-quality, innovative products and services to its customers in the global refinishing industry. The facility, which is located in Sisjön, 20 minutes south of Gothenburg, Sweden, houses not only the latest generation training center for Axalta’s three global refinish brands - Cromax®, Spies Hecker® and Standox® - but also the new offices for the Nordic refinish management organization and the Swedish refinish sales organization.
Axalta Coating Systems (NYSE: AXTA), a leading global supplier of liquid and powder coatings, announced today its acquisition of the business of Ellis Paint Company, a prominent manufacturer of industrial and automotive refinish paint in North America. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Founded in 1887, Ellis Paint Company is a well-known manufacturer and distributor of a strong portfolio of coating products suited for an extensive array of industrial applications and substrates including steel, concrete and wood, shipping vessels and construction equipment, and indoor and outdoor furnishings and fittings.
