Axalta Introduces Productivity Improvement Guide App to Better Serve its Customers in Asia Pacific, Middle East and North Africa
City, Country, Feb 23, 2018 – Axalta Coating System (NYSE: AXTA), a leading global supplier of liquid and powder coatings, today launched its new Productivity Improvement Guide App. Auto refinish bodyshops can use the APP to determine productivity improvements that are achievable for standard vehicle repairs with four or less panels using Axalta’s refinish coating systems. The APP helps the user to determine opportunities in spray booth throughput, energy savings and profitability by selecting the right refinish system. This APP is available in the Asia Pacific, Middle East and North African countries and available on IOS and Android platforms.
“We’re pleased to introduce the Productivity Improvement Guide App, a tool for our key refinish markets in AP/MENA region,” said Subramaniam Shankar, Marketing and Strategy Development Director, Emerging Regions of Axalta. “The APP allows its bodyshop users to compare the process timing between the different basecoat and clearcoat systems available in the market. Further, the timing is then used to calculate the booth throughput and energy cost of the repair.”
To power the app, users simply input specific data:
Shop working hours
- Current revenue for standard repairs
- Spray booth operational cost information
- Current paint system
- And by selecting another dis-similar system for comparison, users can discover the improvement possibilities.
Axalta is committed to enabling automotive refinish bodyshops to be more productive. In 2017, Axalta introduced its AcquireTM Quantum EFX Spectrophotometer to the automotive refinish market, which aims to improve color matching accuracy and readability, and to increase business productivity for refinish and collision repair body shops.
