Voltatex 9218
Magnet wire insulated with Voltatex® 9218 is superior by its excellent mechanical properties. In addition, with optimized windings, Voltatex 9218 combines its superior adherence with a high heat shock and good dielectric properties. Voltatex 9218 shows outstanding chemical resistance as well as excellent hydrolysis resistance which makes the wire suitable for use in hermetic applications as well as in oil filled transformers. Voltatex 9218 is usable for wires acc. ANSI/NEMA MW 15-A-C, MW 17-C, MW 18-A-C and MW 19-C. Magnet wires coated with Voltatex 9218 exceed the requirements and technical conditions of IEC 60317-1. Listed test results based on Axalta Coating Systems standards, following IEC standards 60851.
