Axalta Coating Systems, a leading global manufacturer of liquid and powder coatings, will exhibit and present at the Powder Coating 2016 Technical Conference, sponsored by the Powder Coating Institute. The event will be held at the Georgia International Convention Center in Atlanta, Georgia on April 11-14, 2016. Axalta experts will provide powder coating insights and answer attendees’ questions at booth numbers 136 and 137.

Michael Withers, Axalta’s Architectural Segment Leader, will present a technical session on Thursday, April 14 at 12:30 p.m. titled, Everything You Wanted to Know About Architectural Powder Coatings, which will discuss architectural powder coating chemistries, ideal applications for architectural coatings, performance testing, and warranty and certification information.

Mike Wittenhagen, Axalta’s Technical Services Manager, will also present a concurrent technical session titled, Preventative Maintenance and Troubleshooting for Powder Coating Systems. The talk is intended to provide a complete understanding of the preventative maintenance requirements of a powder coating application system and detailed application equipment troubleshooting to help maximize a system’s uptime.

Axalta is excited to feature new and innovative updates to its architectural portfolio as well. The offering includes Axalta’s Alesta® AR300, AR400, and AR500 Architectural powder coatings, along with the Anodic Collection. Axalta is pleased to provide a variety of coatings for customers to choose from.

“We are thrilled to debut our newly designed AR portfolio. We believe it will further assist our customers in selecting the appropriate coatings for their projects,” said Withers. “The line delivers a high level of design freedom making it easy to match glass, plastic, wood or virtually any other building material.”

At the Axalta booth, experts will also showcase the Alesta Global Color Collection. This architectural powder coatings line is available worldwide and is inspired by the textures and colors of iconic locations such as China’s Forbidden City and the ancient Mayan pyramids in Mexico. This high quality portfolio is designed to meet the needs of architectural customers around the globe.

The Powder Coating Technical Conference is an annual event that provides those in the powder coating industry with technical and applied technology forums as well as new product innovations and developments.
